Looking for housing?
Most social housing in Amsterdam can be found through Woningnet, Amsterdams official platform for social housing provided by housing associations. Woningnet has a long waiting list: generally, people have to wait more than 10 years.
For students, there is also ROOM and Studentenwoningweb. These also have a waiting system that often takes a couple years. However, if you are planning on staying in Amsterdam for a longer period, it might be worth subscribing.
You can also look for housing on the private housing market. However, because of the large housing shortage, prices are steep and place hard to find. Moreover, there are a lot of fake advertisements and sneaky ways to scam people.
